Abstract

Algerian national museums hold vast national and international cultural heritage collections, despite the richness and diversity of these collections, digitization efforts have not yet fully implemented .this study examines the challenges and difficulties hindering the digitization of Algerian national museum collections and their online display, it aims essentially to explore the main reasons for the delay in integrating these technologies, especially in light of global advancements and innovations . by analyzing a specific sample, the Bardo National Museum, the study identifies key challenges that Algerian museums can address to overcome these obstacles and join the developed museums by offering online access to their collections.
